Good clarity,very poor bass/boombox sounds better

Good clarity, very low power consumption, but the bass also explains why. It’s vibrates a lot but bass is extremely underwhelming. You’re looking at 120hz+ sounding just ok. Any drum at high volume distorts, bass is only barely heard when engine is off, even idle no bass. So obviously riding is just all vocals. For how much it was and how much power and radiators are on it I figured it would be close to my boombox 2 that’s like 80w maybe and this is 600 and this has 10% of the bass. Lights are cool, easy turn on and features.
Only bad is bass performance. I really feel like this is worth $500 / $600 tops

We appreciate your feedback. If the issue occurs as the volume is increased, but before reaching 90%, the louder volume coupled with frequencies that have been boosted can cause this issue. If you are using an EQ (Equalizer) in the app or source device, please try turning it off. If the sound no longer distorts with the EQ off, the speaker is not damaged and the EQ settings need to be adjusted to prevent distortion and eventual damage.
However, if the issue continues, try to connect a different device to the speaker to determine if the problem is with the device or speaker. We're here to help. For further assistance, please contact us.

A: Thanks for your inquiry. To install the JBL RALLYBAR XL on your vehicle, begin by selecting the optimal cleat mounting positions on the soundbar. Next, attach the cleat to the soundbar and select the appropriate C-Clamps and rubber components according to your pole size for mounting the soundbar securely. Finally, ensure the Safety Cable is tightened for added security.

Q: This product lists golf carts as an acceptable use. However, most golf carts don't have a cross-bar or utility bar like atvs. What options would I have for mounting to my Club Car Onward 2's canopy?

A: Thanks for your question. The only way to attach our JBL Rally Bar XL would be to retrofit a cross-bar/mounting bar onto your golf cart in order for the soundbar mount to attach properly.

A: Thank you for your question. Our JBL Boombox 2 can be connected to speakers that have the same Partyboost feature. Our JBL JBL RALLYBAR XL isn't compatible with Boombox 2.

Q: Is there a way to power this soundbar on/off remotely without needing to physically press the power button? How can a sound bar that's designed to be mounted out of the drivers reach only be powered on/off by a physical button?

Q: If the Rallybar is wired to a switched power source on a RZR (key), and the hardware switch on the side of the Rallybar is in the on position, Do I need to press the on button on the Rallybar to start listening?

A: Thanks for your inquiry. For our JBL Rallybar XL, you will still have to press the power button on top of the speaker to start the device. Once the main power is on, the Power button (the bottom backlight will be white color starts to get a slow flash, which shows the speaker is on Deep standby mode.)

Party Mode
Party Mode allows for a soundbar to have a simultaneous connection of up to two Bluetooth® devices.
Notes:
- When the soundbar is turned off, it will only connect the
device with the latest action automatically. You will need to manually
connect the second device.
- The maximum amount of devices to be connected at a time is 2. The last action on one of
the devices will always take the control.
- A third device will not be able to see the soundbar speaker’s name on the list of available Bluetooth devices when there are already 2 phones are connected.
